Rhymes ("we", "our", "us") operates the Rhymes mobile application (iOS and Android) and the website rhymes.com.ua (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Feedback messages (name, email, and message text) submitted through the feedback form
Rhyme suggestions and word reports you submit

Your drafts:

Texts you write in Drafts are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers
On iOS, a copy of your drafts is saved to your own iCloud account (iCloud key-value storage), so they come back if you reinstall the app. This copy is handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy, and we cannot access it
On Android, drafts may be included in your device’s Google backup if Android backup is turned on
When you export drafts (as a file or PDF), you choose where to share them

Information collected automatically:

Anonymous usage analytics (search events, feature usage) via Firebase Analytics
Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics
Device type, operating system version, and app version
Subscription status and purchase history for Rhymes+ (via RevenueCat), linked to a random anonymous ID, not to your name or email

Information we do NOT collect:

We do not collect personal identification data unless you provide it voluntarily
We do not track your location
We do not access your contacts, camera, or microphone

2. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers Rhymes+, an optional auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly). All payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. Payment transactions are governed by the respective platform's privacy policy:

We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, check whether your subscription is active and restore it on other devices. RevenueCat receives transaction data and a random anonymous app user ID. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Service
To respond to your feedback and support requests
To analyze usage patterns and fix bugs
To process and validate subscriptions and restore them on your devices

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (Google) — for analytics and crash reporting
RevenueCat — for subscription management
Apple (iCloud) — stores the backup of your drafts in your own iCloud account (iOS only)

5. Data Storage and Security

Your search history, favorites and drafts are stored locally on your device. Feedback messages are stored on our servers. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request access to the personal data we hold about you
Request deletion of your personal data
Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
Disable analytics by limiting ad tracking in your device settings
Delete the iCloud copy of your drafts by deleting the drafts in the app; the backup updates within a few seconds

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Terms of Service

Use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service and, for the iOS app, Apple’s Standard EULA.
